Emperor Caligula, known for his eccentricity, loved his horse Incitatus so much that he made it a senator. He even built a marble stable and gave Incitatus a house, complete with servants. Legend has it, the horse was invited to state dinners, draped in purple robes, and fed oats mixed with gold flakes. Imagine the political debates!
