The House Foreign Affairs Committee could make demands for all communications with U.S. Embassy officials with the DOD concerning Pavol's arrest.

The U.S. State Dept has not exactly been friendly towards Telegram as its strong encryption methods don't favor govt censorship attempts (not to mention anything encrypted is usually NOT on TG servers but on the users machine).

Mike explains the roles TG and DOS have had with one another- it is all about control, not annihilation, the same thing they did to WhatsApp.
