In it, he cites specific cases of the FBI's approaches to him and his staff:
They were interested in Telegram's work. They knew that I had moved from Russia [to the UAE] and wanted to know the details. As I understand it, they wanted to establish a relationship, control Telegram.
Durov emphasized that all these cases took place only during his trips to the United States. Meanwhile, the American special services have long extended their jurisdiction to the territories of other countries.
