** Noah's Ark Blues - A Song of Judgment, Mercy, and Renewal (Genesis 6-9 in the WEB Translation)

** In a world filled with corruption and violence, one man found favor in the eyes of the Lord. This is the story of Noah, a righteous man who walked with God, built an ark, and witnessed the judgment of the wicked and the mercy of the Almighty. Inspired by Genesis 6-9 in the World English Bible (WEB) translation, this blues song captures the depth of Noah's journey and God's covenant of renewal.

Short Story of Noah:

God saw that humanity's wickedness was great on the earth, and every intent of their hearts was only evil continually. But Noah was different. God said to Noah, "The end of all flesh is come before me, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Make yourself an ark of gopher wood..."

Noah obeyed, and when the floodwaters came, he and his family were saved while the rest of the world perished. After the flood, God made a covenant with Noah, promising never again to destroy the earth with a flood, and set His rainbow in the sky as a sign of this everlasting promise.

World English Bible (WEB) Translation of Key Verses:

Genesis 6:8-9 (WEB):
"But Noah found favor in Yahweh's eyes. This is the history of the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time. Noah walked with God."

Genesis 9:12-13 (WEB):
"God said, 'This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I set my rainbow in the cloud, and it will be for a sign of a covenant between me and the earth.'"

Song Lyrics:

Verse 1:
God looked down, saw the wickedness of man,
"Every thought's evil, every heart's damned."
But there was one man, righteous in His sight,
Noah found grace in the dead of night.

Chorus:
"The end of all flesh is come before me," God said,
"For the earth is filled with violence, every heart misled.
Build an ark of gopher wood, make it long and wide,
For a flood's gonna come, with nowhere to hide."

Verse 2:
Noah worked by faith, hammer in his hand,
He built that ark on God's command.
Animals came, two by two,
A sign of life, a promise true.

Chorus:
"The end of all flesh is come before me," God said,
"For the earth is filled with violence, every heart misled.
Build an ark of gopher wood, make it long and wide,
For a flood's gonna come, with nowhere to hide."

Bridge:
Forty days and nights, the heavens cried,
The waters rose, no place to hide.
But the ark held strong, through the storm it sailed,
While the world around, in judgment, wailed.

Verse 3:
Then the rain stopped, the waters receded,
God remembered Noah, His promise heeded.
A dove brought back an olive leaf,
A sign of peace, of new belief.

Chorus:
"The end of all flesh is come before me," God said,
"For the earth is filled with violence, every heart misled.
Build an ark of gopher wood, make it long and wide,
For a flood's gonna come, with nowhere to hide."

Verse 4:
Noah stepped out on a world made new,
Built an altar, gave thanks for the view.
God placed His bow in the sky so clear,
A covenant of love, to all who'd hear.

Outro:
"Never again will I curse the ground," He said,
"For man's heart is evil from his youth 'til he's dead.
But seedtime and harvest, cold and heat,
Summer and winter, day and night shall not cease."
