Trip Report-Saturday 8/24/24 Lumber River-Alma rd to Recreation Center rd

Five Paddlers set out from Alma rd at 9:40am and paddled 6.9 miles to Recreation Center rd at 12:50pm. The river level was 8.6 ft and 315 CFS. It was a warm day and partly cloudy. There was around six trees down and I cut a way thru four. We had to jump over at least three more downed trees. We had to Portage one time. We ate lunch at mile 4.8 and had a great time.

Unfortunately our Star Paddle was not able to make it, the Doc has put him on 1 more week from kayaking.
