I wrote this song still with the themes of Silent Hill, cause I love it, and I paired it with the idea that we must sacrifice our dreams. In the song the dreams take the shape of a religion with a being chained up in a church, that is the dream or ambition. It’s implied that the inhabitants of the church chained down the being so that it would not rule over them, their dreams would have no power over them anymore and so instead of any progress they live in the purgatory Silent Hill, unchanging.
