Wrong treatment with pet dogs

Today morning I was walking at Carter Road, Bandra. Saw this man and woman with golden retriever, beagle and a hound. They came, sat down without walking the dogs. I petted the kids and they were happily wagging there tail trying to play with me. But this man shouted at them and started hitting the golden and beagle with there leash, telling them basna, which means sit in marathi. When he saw I was recording, he yelled at me saying photos are not allowed and when I asked why they weren't walking the dogs, he started shouting at me asking "Is this your dog to ask me why i am not walking, It's my choice". This man was so rude and the dogs looked sad and scared and female sitting with him was supporting him saying humko idhar baitne ko hi bola hai.
As pet parents we all know the importance of walks and excercise..
Please share this message as a word of caution to the pet owner. These dogs are not safe in the hands of this man and they are not getting the walk or exercise they need. Please circulate.
