"Strength Standard: What Every Man Should be ABLE to do.

Effectively and efficiently moving your bodyweight is non-negotiable strength standard for men.

It means whatever weight you’re carrying you can push it, pull it and move it across a distance.

If you’re just a beginner it means mastering your physical frame with the basics.

Pushups, pull-ups, squats and running.

If you can’t hit these basics it means you need to lose weight or get stronger (maybe both).

Here’s your first strength standard to pass:

💪 Beginner

10 Bodyweight Pushups
10 Strict Pull-Ups
10 Bodyweight Full Depth Squats
10 Minute Mile

If that’s easy for you then move on bodyweight plus bodyweight and the traditional lifts.

This is a huge benchmark of your physicality.

For me right now I’m sitting at 182pounds so my marker is 182 pounds on the bench, squat and deadlift for 10 reps as a minimum strength to weight ratio.

💪 Intermediate

10 Reps of the Following @ Bodyweight

Bench Press
Back Squat
Dead Lifts
Pull Ups + 5% of Bodyweight

2 Miles in under 10minutes per mile

If that’s easy then move to advanced and see how you fair.

💪 Advanced

10 Reps of the Following @ Bodyweight + 10%

Bench Press
Back Squat
Dead Lifts
Pull Ups + 10% of Bodyweight

3 Miles in under 10minutes per mile
