Deconstructing Dan McClellan on the Trinity in Genesis 1:26 and So Much More

Dan McClellan, like many scholars today, uses the premises of Critical Scholarship to determine what the bible is and what it means. While helpful in answering some questions, it is a serious obstacle to truth discovery on the most important questions. Here is an example. In Genesis 1:26 God says "Let Us make Man in Our own Image...". Does the plural there reference the Trinity or a "Divine Council"?
