Amatuer 80's Office Documentary: California Law Office Tour and Company Picnic (1989)

Enjoy this 80's law office tour, with Vinny. Vinny takes us around an 80's office to meet the Ladies of the 80's. There is a tour recorded before the office picnic, and then the office picnic. On Youtube, much of the office picnic had to be removed since they were playing some rocking 80's music. Full version is on the archive.

It's interesting to see people's reaction to the camera. People barely react to being filmed these days, but they keep asking him if it's "the new handheld" so this was a pretty small camera for the 80s. Some of the secretaries are wearing these weird stethoscope type headphones.

I got this from a lot of VHS tapes of a 70's musician in L.A. So I can only assume this was filmed in the L.A. area of California. I cannot date this recording anymore than "the 1980's", but the rest of the tape had news recordings from 1989.

So, Big thanks to Vinny for recording the 80's office for all of posterity. Enjoy this candid look at the 1980's office.

Highlights:
-Crass woman (Terry) says to "Wait until he goes into the john and film ALL of it." 1250
-When Vinny zooms and repeats that shot of that woman's bee-hind, that wasn't me editing that, that was Vinny. I'm not sure how he even edited that in camera.
-The dirty cartoon poster closeups.
-When the lady says "Vinny if you're filming this I will kill you" then the camera fades out...
