Jennifer Lopez may always be Jenny from the block, but she’s now making a move to reclaim her original name.

After filing for divorce from Ben Affleck on Aug. 20, J.Lo—currently legally named Jennifer Lynn Affleck—has officially requested to revert to her birth name, Jennifer Lynn Lopez, as revealed in documents obtained by E! News.

Beyond the name change, the Maid in Manhattan star also asked the court to deny spousal support for both parties. Notably, the couple did not have a prenuptial agreement, according to an NBC News source close to Lopez. This means that any assets accumulated since their July 2022 Las Vegas wedding are considered community property.

Ben Affleck was reportedly out of town when Lopez filed for divorce, which came exactly two years after their lavish wedding ceremony in Georgia. The filing cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
