A heated statement at the United Nations in New York City on Thursday, as Israel's ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon referred to the Palestinian Authority's envoy, Riyad Mansour as "a terrorist in a suit" during a meeting of the UN Security Council.

Danon told Mansour, regarding his failure to condemn the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas on Israel, “Mr. Mansour, if you cannot condemn them, you are one of them… you do not represent the Palestinian people. Mr. Mansour, you are a terrorist in a suit.”
