Historic Steele Creek Church and Cemetery (Part 1)

An incredible church and cemetery founded in the mid-1700s, now sitting on property owned by the Charlotte-Douglass airport!

Graves of the original settlers of the area dating back to 1750 all the way up to current day are located here.

In Part 1 of this video series, I discuss the history of the church and cemetery and explain why the Charlotte Airport now owns the church property. I also walk through the area of the cemetery that contains the graves of people buried in the mid-1800s.
