According to a report issued by the Labor Department yesterday, this year’s job creation figures were overstated by at least 818,000, and have been adjusted downward. This is the worst such downward adjustment since 2009, the last time a Democrat president was trying to downplay an economic crisis for political gain. This latest news won’t affect lame duck Biden, but will hurt Kamala down the stretch.
