The Bible says that we come into God's presence with praise and thanksgiving; that means gratitude.

We come into the presence of God with praise and thanksgiving. Not praising ourself, not worrying about the future, not being hateful or have any emotion about this or that situation, that incident. No, we turn to God's presence with praise and thanksgiving.

That means “Thank You, Lord.” That means, “We honor You, Father.” That means, “We glorify Your name. We love You. We thank You.”

All these things are praising the Father, offering thanksgiving to the Father, centering our hearts back to the zero point.
