Why Warren Buffett is Warning of a 2008-style crash

The market turmoil continues, as major companies spanning several sectors are laying off thousands of people. Big names are lopping off a huge portion of their workforce; including Paramount, Intel, Cisco and Axios. With that, the Oracle of Omaha Warren Buffett, has recently said he believes a 2008-like market crash is coming to the US; citing a number of reasons, including (from 24/7 Wall Street via Newsbreak):

-Most big companies seem overvalued, with the S&P 500 trading at high multiples.
-Warren Buffett's recent stock sales hint he's preparing for a potential market downturn.
-He may be waiting for a major correction to make big acquisitions, as he did in 2008.
-When things turn down, dividend stocks can be a safe port in the storm.
