Flash floods close schools and businesses in northern Thailand

Over 12,000 households in northern Thailand were affected by the devastation of flash floods on Thursday (August 22), according to the Ministry of Interior. A teacher who taught in a kindergarten in Phetchabun and a business woman in Chiang Rai spoke of the destruction caused by the floods.
