Humanoids steal the show at World Robot Conference

Super-realistic humanoid robots were the star attraction at this year’s World Robot Conference in Beijing, as tech companies showed off their innovative new products. Athletes, time-traveling scientists, and yes, your robot girlfriend all delighted audiences with their uncanny realism, demonstrating that we’ve come a long way since ‘Lost in Space’ and the Daleks. In fact, we’re not entirely sure some participants didn’t just sneak real humans in there.
