A man was arrested after he threw various items onto northbound I-5 in Seattle, including a fish tank, and later hit a Washington State trooper with a pole, according to the Seattle Police Department.

At around 5:20 p.m. on Friday, a man in his 50s allegedly threw various items off the Boren Avenue overpass onto the northbound lanes of I-5. Seattle Police say one of those items was a fish tank.

At least one vehicle was struck by the items, but no injuries were reported. Several I-5 lanes were blocked off soon after.

According to SPD, a Washington State Patrol (WSP) trooper attempted to contact the suspect and was assaulted with a pole. WSP then deployed a taser, but was unsuccessful.
