Pudding stone: ‘Supernatural’ rock associated with witches, Druids and dragons in ancient folklore

This large lump of stone in St Albans Hertfordshire is more than it seems. For this is an example of the extremely rare Hertfordshire pudding stone - a geological anomaly almost exclusive to the county - and one which has been linked with dark magic and mythical monsters.
