ack Barsky is a former KGB spy who operated as a deep-cover agent in the United States during the Cold War. Born as Albrecht Dittrich in East Germany in 1949, Barsky was recruited by the Soviet KGB in the 1970s. After extensive training, he was sent to the United States in 1978 under a false identity. He assumed the name “Jack Barsky” from a deceased American child and blended into American society as a sleeper agent.
