US Intelligence Confirms Iran Responsible for Hack of Trump Campaign

U.S. intelligence officials confirmed that Iran is responsible for the hack of Donald Trump's presidential campaign.
The FBI said Iran feels this year's presidential election will be consequential and wanted to interfere with it to “stoke discord and undermine confidence in our democratic institutions.”
They also said they’ve seen Iran act more aggressively during this election cycle specifically with influencing the American people and targeting Presidential campaigns.
The statement from the FBI asserts that the Iranian hackers are looking to connect with people who have direct access to the campaigns.
