Harley-Davidson Hits The Brakes On DEI After ‘Woke’ Policies Spark Outrage

Harley- Davidson has announced that it will no longer have DEI functions and have ditched other controversial ‘woke’ policies after the moves sparked outrage with their customer base and on social media.
In a statement, the Motorcycle maker said they haven’t operated a ‘DEI function since April 2024, and they don’t have a DEI function today, they don’t have hiring quotas, and they no longer have supplier diversity spend goals.
Instead, they plan on hiring and retaining the best talent and are refocusing their initiatives on retaining their loyal riding community, and supporting first responders, active military members and veterans.
