This is a complete beginner to a beginner level VINYASA POWER YOGA CLASS.
the focus is to introduce a beginner to a flow practice. Special attention is placed on chaturanga dandasana in order to help a beginner practitioner to develop the upper body / core strength for a power yoga sequence.
The practice is great for people with lower back pain. The class focuses on a lot of gentle forward bends which allow the spine to decompress.
This practice is also suitable for runners, bodybuilders, bikers, people with a sedentary lifestyle etc
This practice is suitable for weight loss for people completely new to yoga and working out. It is a safe place to start moving and transition into the longer sequences once this class has been done about 10 times.
