Posted • August 21, 2024: After the roll-call vote at the Democrat National Convention, nominee Kamala Harris promised the crowd that she'd bring down the cost of groceries. How? "By making sure that the markets are competitive and fair." That certainly sounds a lot different than having the FTC enforce price controls on groceries to end price gouging. -- Kamala: "We believe in a future where we lower the cost of living! When I am president, I will bring down the cost of groceries." -- Was there something stopping her from doing that in the 3.5 years she has been in the White House?
