Now What Do You Think Zeus & The God Of War Could Be Discussing ??

Ancient Babylonian skywatchers knew the god Mars as Nergal — god of war, pestilence, and death. The Greeks equated Nergal with their war god, Ares, whom the Romans later called Mars.
Jupiter was a sky-god who Romans believed oversaw all aspects of life; he is thought to have originated from the Greek god Zeus. Jupiter also concentrated on protecting the Roman state. Military commanders would pay homage to Jupiter at his temple after winning in battle. Juno was Jupiter's wife and sister.
Mars was the Roman god of war and agriculture and an important god in the Roman Pantheon. Born to Juno and Jupiter, he was a salient god who was seen as the protector of Rome. He was the father of Romulus and Remus, the two founding fathers of Rome.
