Automatic Pilot

Little Bo-peep was freaking out about some sheep that had wandered off. Her mentor, himself a shepherd, advised her to chill out because the sheep would return.

The nursery rhyme never gives us closure, but most people presume that the sheep return, "wagging their tales behind them." The implication is "let it be," stuff works itself out. The dastardly deeds of the dastardly aren't dastardly enough to alter the vibration of Universe.

Like Universe, our vessels operate automatically. The auto pilot is the "autonomic nervous system." That's what they call it. Humans wouldn't buy it if it were called an "automatic" nervous system. They scramble a few letters around and "oooos" and "aaahs" abound.

We take this system for granted until someone brings it to our attention. Then some of us start to obsess about it. "What if my heart stops while I'm sleeping?" Other people abuse the system in a variety of creative ways, from depriving it of the sleep it needs to regenerate tissue and rebuild itself, to straight out poisoning it; mass murdering what are known as cells, and then wondering why. Calling for help, a "savior." "My body has turned against me!"

Today we have wellness and workout, but we didn't get to what we started in the monologue, so we must save that for later. Not that we're trying to trick you into watching our little series. If you're easily tricked, you don't even deserve to watch this variety.

There's this saying about wanting something from Life, and Humans are a very familiar (especially to other humans) expression of Life. It should be enough for us (The Trinity) to ask our viewers to push/click an icon, to help the channel to grow. If "you" (who don't) won't do that, then you certainly won't click through to any links to the stuff I'm listening to/watching. I've been toying with the idea of linking the audiobooks I've been absorbing, a few "propaganda" outlets and movies, in these essays, but most people don't even read this.

I'm not feeling any kind of way about it. But enough said about that. This was just a message from Ego.

Back to Auto Pilot; for all of the most important functions of the vessel, Universe doesn't leave it up to humans. We don't have to set any of the bio-"mechanisms" to function over night while we sleep. We don't have to figure out how much of our last meal is going to fuel the brain, the heart, or repair the damage to the muscles. We don't have to remember to set the Body to repair the skin, or to keep breathing while we're dreaming.

But then there's that one person who just has to know, "Why Not?"

"Because if it were left up to you, Human, you'd forget and die."

Don't forget to fuel our channel, our Ego and our... whatever else "liking" this episode does.
