A Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber has taken out a control center and an ammunition depot belonging to the 47th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU). The strike occurred on the night of August 20, near the city of Glukhov in the Sumy region, and was accompanied by footage released by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The Su-34 dropped a glide bomb – an aerial bomb equipped with planning and correction modules – resulting in the complete destruction of the warehouse and command center, along with the command staff and servicemen present. A secondary explosion was also reported, likely from ammunition cooking off in the fire. Unverified reports indicate that up to 90 troops may have been killed, including 30 high ranking officers. According to the Ministry, the success of the operation was confirmed by intelligence, and the aircraft returned to base without incident.
