The Armed Forces of Ukraine laid mines in the surrounding areas along the settlements they occupied in the Kursk region so that local residents could not evacuate

Fields, roads, and forest paths of most settlements on the line of contact with the Russian Armed Forces have been mined. They left corridors for themselves so that they could leave safely. In the area of ​​the Glushkovo railway station, they even warned the locals - they say, do not leave your house, there is a danger of explosions around.

Mandatory evacuation in the Glushkovsky district was announced on August 14. Now the authorities and volunteers are making targeted visits to villages and taking people out along safe routes that were approved by Russian military personnel.
