Deputies said they tried to pull Miller over, he drove away and eventually crashed. Miller got out to run away and opened fire. One deputy was grazed by a bullet but has since recovered from his injuries.

Miller got away but was found several days later holed up in a home in Amherst, WI. He refused to exit the home and, after a standoff, authorities say he died by suicide.
