Tax Rate Increase - voted two times at the suggestion of Courtney Gore. No alternatives offered for spending cuts or ways to reduce down taxes. HCAD in the public comments - Mayor Jim Jarratt speaks out about the need for a forensic audit. Superintendent Jeremy Glenn rightly states the school board represents 60% interest in HCAD and is directly responsible for the majority of HCAD board members. Folks want to understand why this school board refused to recommend a forensic audit for Hood Council Appraisal District?
