There are three statements we are going to look at today as we continue our look at the state of theology and what that means within Christianity. What does the bible mean to us today and how do we understand the bible? In our modernity I find that the biblical narrative has become one of three things. 1) An allegorical part of the past ages of myth. An academic construct for the historian or theologian as a lens to see the growth of western civilization. The history of the Christian faith.
