Democrat DC Councilman ‘Stuffed Pockets With Envelopes Of Cash’ In Alleged Bribery Scheme, Feds Say

The DOJ has revealed why Democrat DC Councilman, Treyon White Sr. was arrested by the FBI over the weekend.
According to the feds, White quote corruptly agreed to accept $156,000 dollars in cash payments, in exchange for using his position as a D.C. councilmember to pressure government employees extend several D.C. contracts"
Those contracts were worth a whopping $5.2 million, for two companies to provide violence intervention services in D.C.
The complaint says White’s cut was 3% and the transactions were captured on video.
Court docs claim that White was also "corruptly" given gifts including trips to the Dominican Republic and Las Vegas.
