Total POS Robs Two Sweet Kids Selling Lemonade

Posted • August 20, 2024: Shocking surveillance footage captured the moment a grown man robbed two young children from their lemonade stand. Surveillance footage shows a car pulling up to the stand on a driveway in Chesapeake, Virginia, when a man exits the vehicle and approaches Rebecca Caldwell, 10, and her brother, Josh. Rebecca told NewsNation affiliate WAVY that she started to offer him lemonade when he abruptly grabbed the money jar and ran away. 'We already got $40. It seemed pretty good, and then the guy came,' Rebecca said. 'He acted really nice. He was just saying, like, 'Nice, y'all are doing a lemonade stand.' And then he was getting pretty close, but my back was turned so I didn't really realize.' Rebecca and her brother immediately ran inside to tell their mother what happened. The suspect has yet to be identified.
