A Venezuelan Gang Has Taken Over An Entire Apartment Complex In Aurora, Colorado

Posted • August 20, 2024: Aurora, Colorado officials are investigating a Venezuelan gang that has been accused of taking over an apartment complex. According to local news reports, an apartment complex on Nome Street is closing down because of "code violations" however that appears to be a cover for a much bigger problem. Some city council members claim the apartment building has been taken over by a gang of illegal immigrants. "We are not buying this. We believe that yes, there are code violations, but this started because of a gang takeover," said Aurora City Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky. The Tren de Aragua gang is accused of engaging in human smuggling, violence, money laundering, and illicit drug trafficking in the U.S. Crime at the complex has increased big time. In 2022 there were 41 reported crimes, 84 crimes in 2023 and 66 crimes in the first half of 2024.
