Bullers O' Buchan.
Located of the A975 just north of Cruden Bay and roughly 25 miles north of Aberdeen in northeast Scotland, the Bullers O' Buchan is a collapsed sea cave forming an oval Chasme (The Pot) some 30 metres (100 feet) deep, where the ocean rushes in through a narrow archway.Victorians used to take their sight seeing boat tours in through this narrow archway.the cliff scenery here is spectacular and for bird watchers Puffins,Kittiwakes, and Razorbills nest and breed in the spring and summer and flowers including Camion,Heather and orchids that colour the cliff tops. A very pleasant walk along the rough footpath leads to the pot itself some 100 metres from a small group of cottages above the bay which also holds the same name of Bullers O' Buchan. There is also a footpath leading south along the cliffs towards Slains Castle & Cruden Bay.
