Alaska #2, Skagway

Next stop on the Alaska Cruise was the old mining town of Skagway. Tiny place, maybe 6 square blocks and 1000 people total. Famous for being a starting point for the Canadian Yukon during the 1897 gold rush. They built a railway through the mountains that is quite impressive, we took a 20 mile ride on the modern version.
