Last Call Monday Night At The Movies - The Producers w/Ser Torrhen Clegane

The Producers (1967) [PG] - Down-on-his-luck theatrical producer Max Bialystock is forced to romance rich old ladies to finance his efforts. When timid accountant Leo Bloom reviews Max's accounting books, the two hit upon a way to make a fortune by producing a sure-fire flop. The play which is to be their gold mine? "Springtime for Hitler."

The Producers (2005) [PG-13] - Failing producer Max Bialystock (Lane) and his accountant, Leo Bloom (Broderick) scam a group of elderly women out of their nest eggs by convincing them to invest in a horrendously offensive Third Reich-themed musical secretly intended to bomb the moment it opens. But when high-brow Broadway audiences mistakenly assume "Springtime for Hitler" is a satire, Bialystock finds himself with the critical acclaim that has long eluded him - and the biggest hit of his career.
