Bushcraft Shelter Build - Episode 6 - New Fire Pit

I return to the new #bushcraftshelter with my dog Zeus with intentions of adding on to the roof of the #bushcraft shelter but I get sidetracked in building a new fire pit. Ready to camp over night, I have to keep a close eye on Zeus who is totally on edge out in the wild land. He has never been this deep in a forest before. His protective instinct is on high alert as he keeps an ear to the sounds of the forest. Construction of a new #firepit up close to the raised bed takes a majority of the time spent out there due to having to carry rocks from across the creek.

With Zeus finally settled and under control I have a few drinks by the fire on the creek bed and enjoy a night in the wilderness. It was a long, cold night, to say the least, but worth every single second of it. There is a lot of work to be done on the shelter and only time is on my side.
