This week our show was sponsored by Healthy Living - presented to us by Brian Kendzor and Andrea Eichmann. We also appreciate those others who are sponsoring our newsletter: Catch22, PoemSpeak, Bottle Breacher, Contagion Effect and Operation Texas Strong. We also have been blessed by the support and company of Miss Kimmer Gwinner!

This episode brings some great guests to the show and it is a winning mix! We had the opportunity to visit with Mr. Melvin Gatewood, and hear about his Operation Continue mission and hopes. He is busy with his mission of helping those who have served, and in various ways. He has been working with the VA in counseling, but hopes he will have his nonprofit up and running so that he can put all his focus on his mission. Rucks are a big part of what Melvin would like to do, and he is working on a couple big events at the moment.

Jonathan : We are joined by Mr. John Hensley, who will share his amazing songs, each with different meanings and stories. He taught himself to play guitar while he was in Iraq… You will love his smoky voice and the lyrics that entertain and touch the heart.
1st Song: Billy Bourdeaux - funny story about this one … John was sitting in church one Sunday and he was thinking he wanted to write a ballad about murder, and this is it. Encompassed in this song was Louisiana, alligators, hurricanes and a little swamp. He takes a little bit of Night The Light’s Went Out in Georgia, Ole’ Red, and Hurricane to make this song and it turns out great.
2nd Song: Better Be Tough - This one is a kind of tongue in cheek song. “If you're gonna be dumb son, you better be tough.” It makes a little fun out of something we may have all heard. There might also be a little bit of fatherly advice in there, too.
3rd Song: Days Where it Won’t Rain - This is a story about John’s service. He joined the service at a young age and got out to join the police force at 21 years old. “Realized through it all, that the good Lord was there all along.”

Next Week we will be celebrating our 200th episode!!!
