D.C. police are investigating the beating of a gay man by Shake Shack

D.C. police are investigating the beating of a gay man by Shake Shack employees as a hate crime assault. On Aug. 17, a gay white man alleges he was assaulted after staff became upset he kissed his partner inside the Dupont Circle location.
