Trombone Quartet No. 1 by Alex Gregg

In the past I have written quartets for saxophones and strings but now I am writing for trombones. I wanted this piece to sound chorale-like. The styles of Bruckner’s Aequale’s for three trombones and Beethoven’s Drei Equali for four trombones came to mind when writing this piece. This video is special because it includes a stock photo of a cathedral to give the impression that the piece is being performed in that space.
