Ballistol cleans, lubricates, and protects your firearm from rust. It is safe for metal, polymer, plastic, leather, and even rubber grips.

There are dozens of ways to clean a Shield Plus or any firearm, for that matter. Ballistol is just one way that I have found. It does an excellent job cleaning, creating very little mess, and is inexpensive, quick, and effective.
