(Part II) Guerrilla Force Joint Operation- The IED Ambush

Last Week In Part I, I continued the Troop Leading Procedure by providing an example of Paragraph 1 (Situation) of the OPORD given to a small guerrilla band with the mission to support the main effort of a joint combat operation of the Guerrilla forces in the AO. I talked about the execution of a small unit raid that is designed to draw the counterinsurgency forces into an area where they will be ambushed by a sister Guerrilla band. In this class (Part II) will include the 2nd part of the operation by conducting an IED vehicle ambush on Counterinsurgency forces enroute to the raid site discussed in Part I. Next Week, Part III will speak to an Underground cell conducting bombings of military, political and law enforcement officials while they conduct recovery operations from the previous two attacks conducted by the Guerrilla Force. I will continue the Troop Leading Procedure at the conclusion of these three parts. We will cover Paragraph 2 (Mission), Paragraph 3 (Execution), Paragraph 4 (Service Support) and conclude with Paragraph 5 (Command and Signal).
