Seattle to Alaska via the Inside Passage

Stopped in Seattle on the way to the Alaska cruise. The trip along the coast via the Inside Passage is beautiful and you can see whales and dolphins from the ship's rail.
After one day at sea we stopped at Tracy Arm Fjord. Carnival feels comfortable taking a 90,000 ton cruise ship up a channel a few hundred feet wide. The glacier has retreated from the last time we were here 9 years ago. In 2015 the ship could sail right up to the ice next to the 500 foot tall glacier, but apparently it has melted enough that is no longer possible.
