As the U.S. prosecutes Trump, world leaders watch with mixed reactions.

Putin reportedly sees this as a classic tactic to eliminate political rivals—something he knows all too well.

He adds, “They are burning themselves from within their own states, their own political systems, thanks to their internal struggles. They are also burning down their own leadership in the sphere of democracy at the root. The whole world sees this, and it’s obvious—prosecuting Trump on charges from years ago, without direct evidence, is the use of the judicial system based on political motivations within domestic power struggles. For Russia, and I’m sure it’s obvious in the UK as well, everyone around the world thinks so. Most importantly, the citizens of the United States itself think that way too."

It tells us that people in the United States don't have faith in the judicial system that makes these decisions. Instead, they believe the system is politically motivated."
