A 4 Screen Tape filmed for the Lone Star Music Hour in 1974. After watching this and putting it together I have fallen in love with Rusty. He had charisma on stage that was unmatched and seemed like a very down to earth funny guy. He showed you who he was on stage. RIP Rusty Wier. This tape features Rusty Wier and his fabulous “Filler Brothers” with Mickey Raphael, and a short appearance from Willie Nelson at 1:08:02. Features songs from a few of Rusty's first albums (Stoned, Slow, Rugged, Rusty Wier AKA Belt Buckle Album, Don't It Make You Wanna Dance?, and one from Stacked Deck) Also features a few covers from other Progressive country names. This tape shows how good of a performer and story teller Rusty was. Just amazing... Sorry for the poor quality, bad footage is better than none at all! Scroll down to the bottom to read about the TV Show that this was filmed for that never came to be.
