Jana Duggar recently shared her excitement about starting a new chapter in Nebraska with her husband, Stephen Wissmann. The former 19 Kids and Counting star, who married Stephen in a beautiful ceremony in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, on August 15, spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about their plans.

Jana and Stephen tied the knot in front of 500 guests, including her sisters Jessa, Joy-Anna, Johannah, Jinger, and Jordyn Duggar, who served as bridesmaids, along with her sister-in-law Abbie. Now, the newlyweds are settling into their life together in Nebraska, where Stephen, a pastor and Bible study leader at East Fairview Mennonite Church in Milford, calls home.

Jana revealed that the couple is busy fixing up a house they purchased, which has been a fun project for them. The pair first met in 2011 through their families, but it wasn’t until years later that they began dating. After a brief breakup, they reconnected in early 2024, realizing they still had strong feelings for each other.
