The Ankh, Was, and Djed are famous symbols of ancient Egypt.

Often portrayed in the hands of the Pharaohs and Deities of the land of the Gods, the Ankh, Was, and Djed are said to represent Life, Power, and Stability.

However, these abstract symbols may also represent the human body, its anatomy and systems, as well as the practical tools to unlock and awaken its full potential.

The human body is full of sensitive energy centres that can be activated and enlivened by applied pressure and self-massage. These tools held by the Royalty and Gods of Egyptian art and iconography may be symbolic representations of the actual utensils used to help awaken the human nervous system to its true potential.

In Vedic teachings, this is the Kundalini awakening and the connection to the Shakti energy. In Taoist tradition, it is the opening of the Golden Flower and the mixing of the elixir of immortality. In the West, it is the lighting of the inner temple and the victory over the dragon - or the dragon energies.

The ancient Egyptians were master builders, astronomers, and allegorists, but they were also adepts in anatomy and the mastery of their body, mind, and spirit - their essential energy.
