Keir Starmer accused of having ‘his head in the sand’ over migration crisis
Former Reform UK candidate Mayuran Senthilnathan has accused British PM Keir Starmer and his government of having their “head in the sand” when it comes to the ongoing migration crisis.
“We have 10,000 people, young men fleeing from the safe country of France, coming to our shores, being put up in four star hotels, getting three square meals a day, money in their pocket, and then you have people struggling to heat their homes,” Mr Senthilnathan said.
“The sense of injustice is palpable and that's the reason why people are really rallying at it.
“It's not surprising we are having these protests or some of these riots but Keir Starmer and the government have got their fingers in their ears and their head in the sand.”
